Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. invites licensed nurses to join a locally owned store in the Metro Vancouver area to deliver health, beauty and convenience services in the community.

You will take blood samples, assess vaccination status and offer vaccines such as influenza, COVID, pneumococcus, herpes zoster or travel vaccines, and provide care for hypertension and diabetes while educating patients on device usage. You will work with the pharmacy team to expand nursing services.

Qualifications

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Québec immunization protocol) and travel health.

• Offer various services related to hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy
• Provide instruction on the use of different devices such as glucometers, blood pressure monitors etc.
• Welcome patients in a professional and caring manner
• Work with the pharmacy team to develop the nursing service offering

Requirements
