Job summary

The Saskatchewan Health Authority in Swift Current is seeking a Public Health Nurse for a full-time temporary role to join a multidisciplinary team delivering community-based services including pre and post-natal care, immunization, health screening and disease follow-up. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN).
• Experience: Minimum of one year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.

Job Description: As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Public Health Nurse provides a full range of community-based public health nursing services including pre and post natal care, immunization, health appraisal and screening, communicable disease follow-up and health counseling. • Supervisory experience is an asset
• Minimum of one (1) year Public Health Nursing experience is an asset.

Licenses

• Valid Class 5 driver's license

Knowledge and Abilities

• Knowledge in population and public health concepts
