Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Clinical Nurse Leader to coordinate the day-to-day operation of the Medical and Long Term Care Nursing Units in Lanigan. This role includes General Medicine, Palliative Care, Obstetrics and Post-operative Care, with an emphasis on patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required.
• Psychiatric Nursing diploma or Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operation of Medical and Long Term Care Nursing Units including General Medicine, Palliative Care, Obstetrics and Post-operative Care.
• Establish and maintain high standards of patient care with delegated administrative, clinical and educational responsibilities.
• Report to the Manager of Nursing and oversee unit operations to ensure safe, effective care.
