Job Description

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to The Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of The Nursing Department, The Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Emergency Nursing Certificate
Other Education and Training
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
