A leading healthcare provider in Burlington is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a full-time and permanent position. Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Burlington, VT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.
  • Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.
  • Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.
  • Hours - Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage.
  • Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.
Must-Haves
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associate's or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
  • Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification.
  • Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.
  • This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.
