Job summary

Sinclair Technologies in Aurora, ON is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for New Product Introduction and ongoing production. You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Supply Chain to design robust, cost-effective processes in a low-volume, high-mix environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, strong Lean experience, and proficiency with ERP, BOMs, ECOs, and CAD tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in low-volume, high-mix manufacturing.
• Experience leading NPI and manufacturing process development.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
• Experience with ERP, BOM structures, routings, ECO processes, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, validate, and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products.
• Lead the transition of new products from design through pilot builds into full-scale production.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation including BOMs, routings, and work instructions.
• Partner with Product Engineering to drive DFM/DFA and cost optimization.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Drive Lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
• Support cross-functional projects for lifecycle improvements and cost reduction.
• Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support and participate in audits.
