Job summary

IPEX is seeking a Director of Codes, Standards & Regulatory Affairs to lead NA codes strategies across building, plumbing, municipal, electrical and other standards in Canada and the U.S. Hybrid role based in Oakville, Ontario.

The Director will shape external regulatory environments, anticipate changes to codes, and support growth by guiding product compliance and market access initiatives with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another relevant technical discipline required.
• PE designation strongly preferred; licensure may be required in applicable jurisdictions.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in codes, standards, regulatory affairs or related technical roles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead North American Codes, Standards & Regulatory strategy based on business risk and growth opportunities.
• Represent IPEX with key codes, standards organizations, regulators and industry groups.
• Lead positions on code changes, standards revisions and regulatory actions impacting market access.
• Build and maintain influential relationships across codes, standards and regulatory community.
