Job summary

A leading defense technology company in Quebec is seeking a Non-Destructive Test Controller to perform inspections and prepare reports based on established procedures. Candidates should have a college certificate in non-destructive testing and relevant certifications. CF-18 experience is a plus. This role requires adherence to security clearance protocols and a commitment to an inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 certification from the CGSB or equivalent.
• CF-18 experience is an asset.
• Hold Level II competencies in at least one of the listed testing methods.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• College certificate in non-destructive testing or equivalent
• Hold a Level 2 certification from the CGSB (Canadian Government Specification Board) or equivalent
• CF-18 experience an asset
• Hold Level II competencies in at least one of the following methods:
  • Liquid penetrant testing
  • Eddy current testing
  • Magnetic particle inspection
  • Radiography
  • Ultrasonic testing
  • Thermography

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret)security clearance.
• Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
