Responsibilities
  • Interpret and audit engineering files for the Challenger platform.
  • Create and maintain master data in manufacturing systems (SAP and Macpac) for the Challenger platform.
  • Generate and ensure proper aircraft configuration throughout the build and certification cycle for the Challenger platform.
  • Track engineering files through the signature cycle for the Challenger platform.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including methods, program management, production, logistics, and suppliers.
  • Deliver on time, within budget, and with quality, in support of the company’s objectives.
How to thrive in this role?
  • You hold a college diploma (or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in configuration/nomenclature management.
  • You have strong experience in configuration/nomenclature management (an asset).
  • You are skilled with SAP, Macpac, and TeamCenter tools (an asset).
  • You have skills in developing simple IT tools (Excel/VBA, Access) for data analysis and compilation.
  • You demonstrate a professional attitude and excellent communication skills (essential).
  • You have strong time management abilities to work under tight deadlines.
  • You are proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoy taking ownership of goals and responsibilities.
  • You show a proactive attitude and can manage multiple priorities.
  • You are self-motivated, autonomous, and enthusiastic.
  • You are capable of working independently and enjoyably in a dynamic and challenging environment.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and can make sound decisions to move projects forward and meet or exceed objectives.
  • You have good IT knowledge: proficiency in MS Office and experience with MS Project are considered assets.
  • You must be fluent in English (spoken and written). Since the role is based in Bombardier’s Montreal facilities, you must also be fluent in French (spoken and written).
