As a Ninja Nurse, you’ll rotate around many areas of the hospital:
Working as part of the hospital nursing team to provide support to all clinical services and helping to support the flow of cases through each department.
These roles give the successful candidates an opportunity to explore the referral hospital and expand on referral experience and knowledge. We are looking for dynamic and hard-working nurses who are willing to move around the hospital, under the direction of the Nursing Management and head nurse teams. These roles would be ideal for someone that is wanting to work in the referral setting without selecting one specialism.
We are ideally looking for a nurse with at least 1-year experience as a qualified nurse.
Previous experience in a referral environment is desirable but not essential.
You will be involved with teaching and supervision of Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing undergraduates on clinical rotations.
Flexibility will be necessary as the post will require participation in the OOH rota, to include some weekend work.
Full‑time, permanent role hours: 40 hours per week
Part‑time, temporary role hours: 34.33 hours per week (12 month contract)

The main purpose of the post is to support the hospital with an ability to staff in a dynamic way. These roles will rotate around the hospital, primarily in medicine, surgery/neurology ward and theatres. The nurse/s within this role will be moved to support areas dependent on clinical and staffing needs. This role will assist with inpatient care, procedures, surgical theatre cases and general maintenance and upkeep of the hospital. They would participate in an OOH weekend rota. This role will work within the terms of the RCVS guide to professional conduct.
