Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp in Victoria, BC is hiring a store associate to provide customer service and support merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor. You’ll work with the team to unload trailers, stock shelves, label merchandise, and keep the floor safe and presentable.

The role starts at the minimum hourly rate of 18.40 CAD and may involve additional duties as needed to ensure store operations run smoothly while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening.
• Setting, merchandising and signing features.
• Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise.
• Labelling and placing merchandise in backroom bins/stocking.
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary.
• Label the sales floor for store opening.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment per policy.
