Job summary

A global technology company in Alberta is seeking a motivated individual to join the RMO HDI-Reliability Laboratory. The role involves assembling HDD drives, maintaining testing equipment, and collaborating with engineers to ensure quality testing. A diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering is required. Candidates should have good problem-solving skills and be comfortable in a cleanroom environment. Night shifts will be part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Self-motivated with a positive working attitude.
  • Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience or coursework in data mining or failure analysis is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble HDD drives manually and manage test loading/unloading.
  • Set up and maintain PC-based testers.
  • Perform hands-on setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mDVL testers.
  • Conduct head and media analysis using microscopes.
  • Collaborate with engineers to resolve testing issues.
