Job summary

Wal-Mart Canada Corp is seeking an Associate to provide customer service and support merchandise flow from receiving to the sales floor. You will unload trailers, stock backrooms, label merchandise, and help ensure a safe, clean store environment.

You'll work as part of a team, schedule-driven by workload, with the position starting at $18.10 per hour. The role emphasizes backroom stocking and labeling to maintain store readiness and efficient merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening
• Setting, merchandising and signing features
• Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise
• Emphasis on labeling and placing merchandise in backroom bins/stocking
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary
• Label the sales floor for store opening
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
