Job summary

A healthcare organization in Sarnia is hiring Registered Practical Nurses for a full-time shift nursing role. The position involves providing cost-effective nursing care to medically fragile patients, participating in a healthcare team, and managing a variety of client care tasks. Candidates must be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario and ideally have experience with pediatric or palliative care, as well as strong assessment and communication skills. Qualifications

  • Experience working with pediatric and/or palliative clients is preferred.
  • Two to Five years Community experience preferred.
  • Foot Care experience is preferred.
  • Must have a personal vehicle and possess a current driver’s license.
  • A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide cost-effective nursing care to pediatric patients in the community.
  • Assess and manage client care, including palliative care and wound management.
  • Teach and delegate tasks to healthcare workers and family members.
  • Participate as a member of the healthcare team.
