A leading aerospace company is looking for an Inspection Technician to perform inspections on landing gear parts using techniques like Magnaflux and penetrant inspection. The role requires technical training and experience, along with certifications in the field. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, collaborating with team members, and maintaining quality standards to meet industry requirements. This position is located onsite in Ontario and involves working weekday nights.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 plus formal technical training or at least 3 years industry experience.
• Completion of Level 2 or 3 Certification for Magnaflux & penetrant.
• Experience in Magnaflux and penetrant inspection.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering specifications.
• Eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnaflux and penetrant inspections.
• Conduct calibration for Magnetic particle and penetrant inspection.
• Check compatibility of received parts and paperwork.
• Participate in audits for NDT Nadcap requirements.
• Collaborate with Level III Inspector on process sheets.
