Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Night Shift Dispatcher for our team of Truck & Trailer Technicians at our location in Dieppe. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and “can do attitude”.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with shop supervisor on work distribution for the truck and trailer technicians
  • Assist service advisors with preparing & updating work schedules
  • Provide back up support for the Service Advisor
  • Ensure quality / correct information is included in each work order
  • Looking up SRT's and assigning the right Technician to jobs
  • Cross reference with special instructions pertaining to job requirements/details
  • Confirm warranty requirements are fulfilled and updated accordingly
  • Close repair orders
  • Assist with preparation of time sheets
  • Monitor claims for accuracy/completeness
  • Flag the appropriate technicians for the hours earned on the operations performed
  • Return improperly completed repair orders to the author for correction and/or completion as necessary
Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an undergraduate degree in Logistics/Supply chain orTechnical/Mechanical, would be considered an asset.
  • Mechanical aptitude is required.
  • Understanding manufacturer warranty policies and procedures would be considered an asset.
  • Must exude energy and passion for superior customer service and building and retaining customer loyalty.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Computer skills (experience with Microsoft Excel is a must)
