Job summary

Walmart Canada seeks an Associate to support receiving and the flow of merchandise from trailers to the sales floor, including unloading, stocking, labeling, and merchandising. You will work as part of a team to plan duties based on workload while maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Starting wage is 18.75 CAD per hour. You must be 16 or older; Walmart supports disability-related needs as required by law. Primary location is 1030 Boul Du Grand Heron, Saint-Jerome, QC.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older

Responsibilities

• Preparing the sales floor for store opening
• Setting, merchandising and signing features
• Completing live unloading of other types of merchandise
• The main differentiator between this role and day/evening fulfillment is there is a stronger emphasis on labelling and placing merchandise in the backroom bins/stocking
• Pulling pallets of merchandise to and from the sales floor for overnight processing
• Assisting in stocking the sales floor as assigned and providing customer service if necessary
• Label the sales floor for store opening
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure
