Sodexo Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to join a busy manufacturing site. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards across allocated areas, with attention to safety and hygiene.

You’ll carry out routine cleaning, replenish consumables, dispose of waste, and follow COSHH requirements. The position requires good time management, reliability, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team on a production site.

Formación

• Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good time management and the ability to stay on top of your workload.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine cleaning duties in line with agreed schedules and required standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment across your allocated areas.
• Empty and dispose of waste safely.
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, toilet rolls and soap.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and correctly, following COSHH requirements.
• Use PPE and appropriate warning signs when required.
• Respond to ad-hoc cleaning requests and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the shift.
• Report any health & safety concerns, accidents or near misses to your Supervisor.
• Work closely with colleagues, management and client employees to deliver an excellent service.
• Maintain a professional appearance and provide a friendly, helpful service at all times.
