Qualifications

• Responsible for completing sanitation tasks assigned by the Sanitation Supervisor.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift objects up to 50-75 lbs.
• Comfortable communicating in both verbal and written English.

• Follow WHMIS procedures and maintain sanitation programs.
• Work collaboratively with others and perform basic maintenance duties.

Hiring Requirements

As a General Bakery Sanitor at Bimbo Bakehouse, you will be :

• Responsible for completing tasks assigned from master sanitation program for the facility and for special assignments asdeterminedby the Sanitation Supervisor.
• Utilize andmaintainin-house sanitation cleaning equipment (Power washers, Vacuums, and floor Scrubbers)
• Understand,followand maintain WHMIS procedures and regulations asrequired.
• Understand,followandmaintainall sanitation programs and requirements.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively with others.
• Mustperform basic mathematical functions.
• Mustpossessstrong communicationskills, both verbal and written.
• Mustbe prepared to work extra hours whenrequired.
• Requires bending, significant walking, scrubbing, scraping, mopping, moving objects, and pulling / pushing equipment, etc.
• Occasional heavy lifting (50–75lbs) withassistancefrom a partner.
• Occasional frequent exertion of up to 35lbsof force.
• Comfortable communicating in both verbal and written English
