Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Night Audit Supervisor for the Westin at Blue Mountain in Ontario. The role oversees the overnight front desk and cleaning staff, serving as the main night contact for guests and other departments.

You will reconcile daily work, audit and post financials, and provide next day reports across departments. The position runs 11pm–7am, is full-time, and includes health and dental benefits.

Qualifications

• 1 year customer service experience required.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Front Desk experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing all daily front desk agents' work; reconciling work from the day shift.
• Auditing, balancing, posting and reporting financial transactions with cash and credit handling procedures.
• Supervising night cleaners; directing work and coaching to ensure safety and task completion.
• Providing next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, Accounting, and Executive Offices.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The Night Audit Supervisor at the Westin is responsible for managing the hotel front office and cleaning staff during the overnight hours, acting as the main contact person for hotel guests and other hotel departments during night shift.

• Completing all daily front desk agents' work; reconciling work from the day shift
• Auditing, balancing, posting and reporting financial transactions to ensure accuracy and verify proper cash and credit handling procedures are followed, provide performance feedback as required
• Supervising team of night cleaners at scheduled location; directs work, reviews work, provides performance feedback and coaching to night cleaning team in the hotel; ensures that workers complete tasks in a safe manner; submits health and safety incident reports as required.
• Providing next day reports for Front Office, Housekeeping, Sales, Accounting, and Executive Offices including Bonvoy Award reports (Westin)
• Delivering and retrieving luggage, laundry, faxes, packages, and all other guest request items
