Sunwapta Falls Rocky Mountain Lodge Jasper, AB$18 an hour - Full-time Job detailsPay$18 an hourJob typeFull-timeShift and scheduleNight shiftLocationJasper, ABFull job descriptionWe are a seasonal property with positions starting May 7, 2025 until October 2025.For our international applicants, please note we do not have any LMIA spots available at this time.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Audit at our seasonal lodge in the Canadian Rockies. The position of Night Auditor is responsible for night reconciliation of all revenue-based transactions in addition to data pooling mechanical information, labour information, and other information as required. It is a Front Desk Position, and while taking reservations are light, customer service and helping guests is always a priority. The positions shift is from midnight to 8:00am, five-six days per week.There are security duties to ensure the enjoyment and general safety of the main lodge, guests, and staff. This role requires you to work without supervision and to have a fundamental understanding of how to balance daily cash outs, troubleshoot Microsoft Excel formulas, problem solve, and a good ability to learn new software and computer operations.Key Responsibilities:Perform front desk duties such as checking guests in and out, answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries. Handling any customer complaints or requestsReconciliation of all non-cash transactions for all departmentsCross referencing of all till tapesFollowing procedure for entering data in reports, including reports such as labour, category, maintenance, and cabin reports.Adjustments to over/short, refundsNotifying supervisors of discrepanciesRespond to guest complaints or concerns in a timely and professional mannerPerform other duties as assignedSecurity duties such as ensuring the main lodge is locked down and empty of employees, timely lodge perimeter security checks, and monitoring staff accommodation.Assist tour directors and bus drivers with high service retail purchasesCross sell and cross promote hotel and restaurant products and servicesOccasionally assist housekeeping as required with bed stripping or laundryQualifications:Strong organizational and multitasking abilitiesProficient in Excel and data entryExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well under pressure and handle guest complaints effectivelyPrior experience in a similar role is an assetMust be able to work overnight shiftsCompensation:Wage: $18/hr plus bonuses.Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 bonus for every hour worked and an additional bonus that will cover the cost of rent.Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.If you are a self-motivated individual with a passion for hospitality and excel at data entry, we would love to hear from you.
