Job Description - New or Recent Graduate Finance Professional (ONT00056)

Reporting to the Manager, Regional Finance & Strategy, you will be part of the Regional Finance & Strategy department. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Finance professional, supporting a long‑term career at Agnico Eagle. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment.

Responsibilities
  • Support operational excellence, financial integrity and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with daily finance tasks, including data entry, reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts.
  • Participate in audits, compliance activities and internal controls reviews.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.
  • Learn to use finance related software and tools.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.
  • Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional finance or accounting certification.

Your Work Schedule

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or Kirkland Lake Office.

You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
