Your next challenge

Reporting to the Community Relations Supervisor, you will be part of the Community Relations Department. You will support operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement while learning and growing in a dynamic mining environment. This role is specifically designed to develop the successful candidate into a Community Relations professional, supporting a long‑term career at Agnico Eagle.

  • Assist with community relations tasks, including community and Partner Nation engagement, communications and reporting.
  • Support the development, implementation and review of community related programs and partnership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with operations, environment, procurement and human resources to promote respectful and mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Participate in meetings, events and cultural awareness activities with Indigenous Partners and local communities.
  • Contribute to compliance with agreements, commitments and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and promote a culture of safety and responsibility.
  • Contribute to environmental stewardship and compliance efforts.
  • Engage in continuous improvement projects and support technology adoption.
  • Learn to use IT management related software and tools.
  • Take part in training and development opportunities to build your technical and leadership skills.
  • Benefit from mentorship and guidance to progress towards professional CR related certification.

Your work schedule

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at our Timmins Regional Office or Kirkland Lake Office. You must be willing to work on a rotational schedule at a remote mine site.
