Hydro One – New Graduate Program (Portfolio Delivery – Productivity)

Hydro One is the largest electricity transmission and distribution provider in Ontario, serving nearly 1.5 million customers. We are focused on delivering exceptional customer service, safe communities, and innovative solutions.

New Graduate Program – a two‑year permanent role that combines training, coaching, and rotation through several project and business functions. Candidates selected for this position will be included in Hydro One's New Grad development program.

Program Eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by May 2026 (2024 or 2025 graduate) or currently completing a master’s degree scheduled to graduate by May 2026 with no more than one year between bachelor’s and master’s enrollment.
  • Good academic standing – official or unofficial transcript required.
  • Valid permanent Ontario Class G driver’s license.
Capital Portfolio Delivery – Productivity (Portfolio Management)

The Portfolio Management team is accountable for planning, estimating, cost & schedule management, reporting, and program support for capital projects. The Productivity group focuses on data analysis, process improvement, and stakeholder collaboration to support delivery across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with productivity initiatives across the Capital Portfolio Delivery organization.
  • Access and analyze data from various systems to validate productivity savings before reporting.
  • Prepare month‑end productivity reports and collaborate with business owners to identify next steps.
  • Engage stakeholders in project control areas (estimating, forecasting, cost, schedule, change management, reporting).
  • Coordinate, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve mutual objectives.
  • Participate in process improvement workshops to drive efficiency and productivity improvements.
  • Facilitate month‑end manager meetings, including action items and screen‑sharing presentations.
  • Review technical engineering and related documentation/diagrams and generate project scope summaries.
  • Develop and maintain guidelines, process charts, and job aids for approved business processes.
  • Maintain productivity team documentation and processes in SharePoint.
  • Perform other duties as required.
