Job summary

Nanaimo Regional General Hospital invites applications for an additional Neurologist to join a group of five colleagues, with opportunities to develop subspecialty Neurology services in Epilepsy, Headache, or Cognitive Neurology. The incumbent will participate in inpatient and outpatient care while maintaining work-life balance in a growing coastal community.

The successful candidate will hold RCPSC certification and be eligible for full licensure in BC, with opportunities for medical education

Qualifications

• Be RCPSC certified and eligible for full licensure in BC.
• Interest in subspecialty Neurology: Epilepsy, Headache or Cognitive Neurology.
• Inpatient and outpatient-based care with potential academic affiliation.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical neurology services with a balance of work and life.
• Engage in medical education with university affiliation where available.
• Participate in EEG/EMG services and hospital-based care.
• Contribute to community-based stroke care and program development.
