Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years designing and deploying network infrastructures
  • Demonstrated experience in both networking technologies and cybersecurity principles
  • Ability to deliver post-deployment support, configuration & maintenance, and documentation while diagnosing and resolving complex network problems
  • Capable of conducting comprehensive network evaluations and proposing infrastructure improvements
Technical Proficiencies Include :
  • Core networking protocols and tunneling : TCP / IP, IPsec VPNs (site-to-site), GRE, DMVPN, client VPNs, NAT, and VRF
  • Data center networking : VPC, VDC, Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE), Fibre Channel (FC), and virtual switch technologies
  • Security appliances and protocols : firewalls, intrusion prevention / detection systems (IPS / IDS)
  • Supporting Cisco platforms : IOS, NX-OS, Meraki solutions, Call Manager
  • Familiarity with Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and implementations
  • Layer 2 networking : VLANs, Ethernet switching, and spanning tree protocols
  • Layer 3 routing : hands-on experience with MPLS, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of network infrastructure solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems with broader IT initiatives
  • Assist in planning and executing upgrades, migrations, and expansions of network systems
  • Monitor network performance and implement tools to proactively identify and address potential issues utilizing industry best practices
