Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and document secure network architectures based on business and technical requirements
  • Develop and maintain network diagrams and documentation for LAN, WAN, cloud, and hybrid environments
  • Configure and manage networking hardware and software including routers, switches, and firewalls
  • Implement and monitor network security protocols including VPNs, IDS/IPS, and zero-trust frameworks
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards (NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Plan for network scalability and future growth aligned with business needs
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures
  • Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align network solutions with strategic goals
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
  • Lead network-related projects from design through implementation and support
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and cybersecurity trends
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and platforms to enhance network and security posture

    • CCNP / CCIE (Cisco Certified Network Professional / Expert)
    • AWS Security Specialty (for cloud-focused roles)
    • TOGAF, SABSA, or NIST SP800-53 (for enterprise architecture frameworks)
