Job summary

Astra-North Infoteck Inc. is seeking a skilled .NET engineer to design, develop, implement, and maintain cloud-based and Windows-hosted components.

You will work on legacy modernization, automation, and reducing technical debt while collaborating with RBC partners nationwide and globally. Responsibilities include documenting changes, interfacing with cross-functional squads, and applying security/authentication practices (OAuth, AD, certificates) across REST/SOAP/HTTP APIs and OpenShift

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience using .NET technology stack to develop, implement, and maintain front-end to back-end cloud (Openshift) and Windows hosted components.
• Experience with security authorization/authentication mechanisms via OAuth, Active Directory, Application Certificates, etc.
• Experience with HTTP, SOAP, and REST protocols supporting Rich and cloud application development.
• Understanding of XML structure and data layouts to move data between platforms.
• Experience in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, vulnerability fixes and refactoring legacy code.

Responsibilities

• Provide suggestions on areas for improvement within the application suite, with the goal of eliminating technical debt, and enhancing automation.
  
• Document all updates and changes to applications.
  
• Work cross functionally with business partners, other agile squads, and Site Reliability Engineering teams to prioritize and complete project work.
