Job summary

A leading industrial company is seeking an NDE Level 2 Technician in Sherwood Park, AB. The role requires expertise in magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and ultrasonic testing, with a contract duration from November 21, 2025, to May 29, 2026. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in the Petro-chemical industry, relevant certifications, and will undergo drug and alcohol testing. A Monday to Friday schedule is provided along with benefits after 300 hours worked.

  • Completion of drug and alcohol testing is required.

Job description
Overview

FLINT is seeking an NDE Level 2 Technician with Magnetic particle inspection (MPI), Liquid penetrant inspection (LPI) and Ultrasonic testing (UT) experience for a temporary job in Sherwood Park AB starting November 21 2025 until May 29 2026. In this position you will enjoy a Monday to Friday schedule 8-hour workdays and benefits after 300 hours worked.

This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance or travel allowance. Therefore it is best suited for local candidates; however those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in the Petro-chemical industry.
  • ASNT TC-1A & CAN / CGSB-48.9712-2014 Level 2 PT Penetrant Testing certified.
  • ASNT TC-1A & CAN / CGSB-48.9712-2014 Level 2 MT Magnetic Testing certified.
  • ASNT TC-1A & CAN / CGSB-48.9712-2014 Level 1 UT Ultrasonics Testing certified.
  • Have NRCan Certification Program for Operators of Portable X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzers (XRF).
  • Meet minimum mandatory ticket requirements: CSTS-2020
