Qualifications
- Experience working on the BC coast (Tugs / Ferries / relevant shore-based position) would be a significant asset.
- Physical ability to work in and around vessels and lifesaving equipment.
- Completion of an instructional techniques course (Train the Trainer) or Provincial Instructor Diploma Program would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Classroom instruction to Nautical Science cadets and entry-level students.
- Simulator, workshop, laboratory instruction and supervision.
- Administrative responsibilities, including assignments and student evaluation.

Education
Canadian 3000 GT / Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (Unlimited)
Undergraduate degree or Diploma in Nautical Sciences
