Qualifications

• Experience working on the BC coast (Tugs / Ferries / relevant shore-based position) would be a significant asset.
• Physical ability to work in and around vessels and lifesaving equipment.
• Completion of an instructional techniques course (Train the Trainer) or Provincial Instructor Diploma Program would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Classroom instruction to Nautical Science cadets and entry-level students.
• Simulator, workshop, laboratory instruction and supervision.
• Administrative responsibilities, including assignments and student evaluation.

Canadian 3000 GT / Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (Unlimited)
