National Sales Manager

The Opportunity

Reporting to the President, the National Sales Manager will design and implement a strategic approach to building and growing long‑term relationships with key customers. As a key member of the Business Leadership Team, you will be responsible for driving top‑line revenue growth, developing and executing a focused sales strategy, and ensuring alignment with the company’s EOS Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO). You will also be expected to model the company’s core values, lead with clarity, and foster a culture of discipline and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Strategy
  • Own and execute the company’s national sales strategy in alignment with the EOS framework.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3 sales professionals (including hiring one new team member).
  • Implement and reinforce Mike Weinberg’s New Sales Simplified principles: focus on proactive prospecting, clear messaging, and disciplined pipeline management.
  • Set and manage KPIs, scorecards, and Rocks for the sales team.
  • Drive new business development while supporting strategic account growth.
Marketing & Applications Support
  • Oversee the marketing function to ensure alignment with sales goals and brand positioning.
  • Collaborate with the Applications Engineer to ensure technical support and solution development for prospects and customers.
Leadership Team Participation
  • Actively contribute to the Business Leadership Team, helping to set company-wide priorities and solve cross‑functional issues.
  • Participate in weekly Leadership Team meetings and quarterly and annual EOS planning sessions.
  • Provide clear, data‑driven updates on sales performance and market trends.
Customer & Market Engagement
  • Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 7+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Proven success in building and managing high‑performing sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of sales process discipline, pipeline management, and CRM utilization.
  • Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is strongly preferred.
  • Strong alignment with Mike Weinberg’s sales philosophy: proactive, focused, and customer centric.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally as needed (approx. 25–40%).

Working Details
