About the Company

Our client, the financial services subsidiary of a Global Automotive Corporation, that provides retail, leasing and wholesale financial services to its dealerships and customers across Canada, is seeking to hire a National IT Manager (hybrid – 3 days on-site).

About the Opportunity

An individual who is strong technically, brings high energy in team engagement, leading, delegating, and empowering the team.

This is a replacement position, and the expectations are providing leadership, design / development / execution of organizations' technology, and digitization strategies.

This person will work closely with the board and the executive teams along with working closely with the C-level executives in the US.

Currently, they have a multi-year project which launched in Jan 2025 replacing legacy applications and infrastructure to cloud.

The expectations are to lead the delivery and ensure success.

The incumbent must have hands‑on experience in business transformation projects.

About You

Over 15 years of total experience in leading and managing dynamic technology teams in terms of creating roadmaps and execution.

Hands‑on experience and proven success with digitalization projects. Hence, strong project management skills are important.

Leading IT infrastructure and enterprise application environment to cloud.

Strong working experience with cybersecurity, risk management, governance and compliance.

Managing various vendors

Strong communication skills and proven experience working with C-level executives.

Bonus Items

Industry : Finance industry like asset management / wealth management or Automobile

Alpha is the vendor for the current migration from Mainframe to cloud.

Salary Range

$190,000 - $210,000 / year
