Position: NAS Migration Specialist

Location: Remote

Structure: Contract 6 months

Pay: Up to $85.00 p/h inc.

Requirements

• Conduct comprehensive discovery, inventory, and assessment of existing storage environments (NetApp, SMB/NFS, etc.).
• Design and implement scalable, high-availability, and optimized storage architectures (SAN/NAS/Object/Hybrid).
• Develop migration strategies, runbooks, and scripts for various data types.
• Execute migrations using tools such as Komprise, Robocopy, SnapMirror, and custom scripts.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and permissions mapping throughout the migration process.
• Collaborate with application owners, data owners, and cross-functional teams for cutover planning and validation.
• Support change management, documentation, and transition to operations (TTO).
• Provide ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and support during and after migration.
