What is the opportunity?

RBCx is hiring a Narrative Strategist to support the Creative Team. This person is an expert storyteller and designer, with the ability to dissect, simplify and amplify complex information. They are a master at shaping narratives for companies, leaders, or projects and have the design capabilities to translate into visuals for print or digital, and are well‑versed in data visualization.

What will you do?
  • Support the execution and distribution of enterprise communication strategies by translating complex business content into clear compelling messages
  • Interpret business insights and information to create reports and presentations
  • Work closely and collaboratively with strategic partners and marketing teams
  • Produce marketing assets, including digital publications, ebooks, infographics, data visualization, presentation decks and other marketing material
  • Develop and/or leverage existing brand guidelines to prepare and deliver assets
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, production artists, and writers
  • Build strong relationships and share best practices with marketing and other communication groups across RBC
Must haves
  • 7+ years of experience in consultation communications and production design
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, supportive manner with cross‑functional teams
  • A self‑starter who can take initiative, work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your design skills, data visualization, presentation decks, and experience in print and digital formats
  • Strong aesthetic skills and a demonstration of graphic design core principles with respect to typography, layout/composition, photography, iconography, etc.
  • An expert with PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to embrace feedback and continue to iterate and improve your work
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast paced environment
