Job summary

Nannies on Call in Toronto (Etobicoke) seeks an experienced Family Assistant / Nanny to support two young children and the household long term. You will balance childcare with light housekeeping, meal prep, and errands, with a structured Mon-Thu schedule and one weekend day.

The role requires driving, reliability, and the ability to follow guidance from therapists for the speech-delayed child. Car provided and 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Experience caring for toddlers (1–3 years old).
• Ability to manage light housekeeping and meal prep.
• Comfortable in a fragrance-free home and follow therapists' guidance.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work long-term with a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Family laundry and meal preparation.
• Grocery shopping and occasional errands.
• Light household duties (kitchen cleanup, vacuuming, organizing toys).
• Keeping children's clothing and supplies organized and stocked.
• Pick up children from daycare and provide attentive care in the afternoon and evening.
• Plan age-appropriate activities and support developmental milestones.
• Assist with dinner and evening routines and prep the home for the next day.
