Job description

Looking for a warm, nurturing and fun nanny to take care of my son. Dean is a sweet, playful baby who loves to be outdoors.

We are looking for someone to take care of Dean from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm, starting January 2, 2026. Dean will be 13 months old at that time. Duties would be taking care of his basic needs (feeding, diapering), engaging in lots of play time, walks, trips to the park, attending the library story time, etc. as well as light baby‑related housekeeping during his naps (eg preparing baby snacks / meals, folding his laundry, tidying his play area) as time permits. He is currently on 2 naps a day.

We live about a 5 minute walk from Bayview Station and don’t require a car, but would prefer you have a valid Ontario drivers license to use our car. We also have parking if needed.

I will be working from home but I will stay out of your hair, other than to spend a 30 minute lunch with the baby while you get a (paid) break.

We have a 5 year old golden retriever who is very friendly and gets excited about new visitors. So you will need to be comfortable around dogs, and ok with him trying to get lots of attention from you for a few days until he gets used to having a new person in the house. You won’t need to be in charge of any dog‑related tasks.

We’d require references for working with babies, a police criminal records check and first aid / CPR trained.

We are also potentially open to a nanny share.
