Job description

I’m Kathryn, a full time solo parent in Windsor working mostly from home, with two lovely girls aged 6 and 8, and not much of a \"village\" for childcare. I'm looking for a dependable full-time, long-term nanny who can help with childcare as well as some domestic chores so I have more time and energy to be fully present, fun, relax and play with my girls after work.

• child care during school days : pick up from school at 2 : 15pm, offer snacks / activities, and drive to nearby lessons, supervise play dates, or activities.
• child care during the day on PD days and during summer (they occasional will have day camp or play dates).
• help with getting groceries, prep / cook snacks and some meals, and prep for dinner meals (I love cooking, just lack time some days to prep).
• help keep the house running smoothly (laundry, tidying, surface clean).
• ideally you have an active drivers license and good driving record to get out to some local trails and excursions. I will provide a spending money budget so you're not all stuck at home with the girls every day, and reimburse mileage while working.
• Bonus : I would love them to learn French (and me re-learn) or another second language!

I am looking for a salaried nanny, with paid vacation and sick time, and optional additional hours upon mutual agreement. I can be fairly flexible as to exact start and end time and total weekly hours (e.g. 35, 40) since I do work from home (I have a dedicated office above the garage that is pretty sound proof and has worked great with previous nannies). For example, I could do a regular 8 or 9am start for 7 or 8 hours, or do a late morning until 5 : 30-6pm as a default Monday-Friday schedule. With sufficient notice, I am typically quite flexible regarding adjusting working hours for appointments or other personal reasons.
