6-year-old & 3-year-old
$30 / hour
Rotational, guaranteeing 130 hours every 4 weeks. 2 weeks are full‑time / overtime followed by 2 weeks of part‑time hours.
An active and affectionate family seeks a flexible, engaged nanny for their energetic boys, ages 6 and almost 3. Their 6‑year‑old is bright, active, and social, loves biking, soccer, hockey, and being outdoors. He enjoys sewing projects, reading, and puzzles. Their 3‑year‑old is adventurous, curious, and keeps up with his big brother—enjoying scooter rides, climbing, music, arts & crafts, and long backyard play sessions. The parents prioritize undivided attention and strive to be present despite demanding work schedules. Parenting style focuses on empathy, positive reinforcement, natural consequences. Children are screen‑free, follow a vegan diet, and the family welcomes the nanny’s input on activities and ideas.
The ideal nanny is energetic, reliable, a team player who collaborates with parents to support the children’s growth, learning, and milestones. A confident, patient, gentle approach with social‑emotional learning support is essential. Building rapport, setting reasonable boundaries, and creating a rhythm that is structured yet spontaneous will thrive. Familiarity with early childhood development, Waldorf, and/or Forest School philosophies is a plus.

The role requires scheduling flexibility; no fixed set of hours. The schedule is provided at least 4 weeks in advance and guarantees 130 hours every 4 weeks. $30 / hour based upon 130 guaranteed hours over 4 weeks, which equates to $3,900 / 4 weeks, and a minimum anticipated annual income of $50,700 / year. Paid legally on a T4, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law.
