Roles and Responsibilities

• Bathe, dress, change diapers and feed the client
• Prepare client’s food/meal as requested and agreed by the parents
• Discipline client according to the methods requested by the parents
• Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development
• Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
• Instruct the client in personal hygiene
• Take the client to and from daycare and appointments
• Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding client if requested

Requirements

• Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience
