Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a dedicated caregiver to work in the employer's home, caring for infants and children, including feeding, bathing, and daily supervision. The role involves organizing activities, light housekeeping, and assisting with school or appointment transport. Valid first aid/CPR and allergy training are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification required.
  • Food allergy and anaphylaxis training completed or willing to obtain.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
  • All certifications must be current and verifiable.

Responsibilities

  • Care for infants and children in the family home.
  • Bathe, dress and feed infants and children.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Arrange activities and supervise children during the day.
  • Transport children to school and appointments as needed.
  • Monitor health and safety; keep records of daily activities.
