Job summary

Armstrong Fluid Technology is seeking a skilled technician to create serialized plates for our products, enter detailed data into terminal software, and select correct file formats. The role requires maintaining stock, performing routine maintenance, and printing high-quality nameplates and labels.

The successful candidate will prep documentation for manufacturing orders, work on the afternoon shift in Toronto, and bring strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and teamwork to a dynamic production

Qualifications

• High School education required; some college preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a serialization name plate environment preferred.
• Mechanical pump manufacturing background is an asset.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent English language skills, both written and oral.

This role is responsible for creating serialized plates that will be installed on our products.

This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, and the scheduled afternoon shift is from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

The key accountabilities of this position are:

Role Requirements

• Minimum High School education required; some collage preferred.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a serialization name plate environment preferred.
• Mechanical Pump manufacturing background is considered an asset.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team.
• Must have high level comprehension of English both written and oral.
• Requires someone to be technically detailed oriented, very organized, computer literate.
• Able to prioritize work and assignments to produce effective and timely completion of Job documentation packages.
• Creative problem-solving skills, conflict management within different organizations (centralized and matrix organizational structures)
• Ability to break down complex problems in a simplified way, conduct root cause analysis and provide clear, well thought-out recommendations.
• Strong, team-oriented leadership skills with presence and a bias for action.
• Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results.
• Ability to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.

Range: CAD$18.50 - CAD$20.00
