Seeking an Editor for an exciting music video project, about 3 weeks of work total, paid $200-400 per day. We're looking for a fresh perspective to shape the visuals for an independent hip-hop artist. This project will feature dynamic performance shots mixed with abstract, atmospheric B-roll, aiming for a high-energy, contemporary aesthetic. We're looking to create something visually impactful that will stand out. Key responsibilities include assembling footage, incorporating motion graphics or visual effects as needed (after effects knowledge is a plus), sound design, and color grading for a final deliverable. You'll work closely with the director and the artist to realize their vision. We anticipate two main editing phases: a rough cut delivered by early December 2026 and a final picture lock by late December 2026. Applicants should have their own editing workstation and software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and a strong understanding of post-production workflows. While this is an entry-level position, a demo reel showcasing previous editing work, even student or passion projects, is essential. We'll provide all raw footage, music tracks, and detailed creative briefs. This is a great opportunity to gain significant experience on a paid music video production.
