Job summary

Long & McQuade Bedford is seeking experienced music teachers to run on-site lesson centres. You will teach a variety of instruments and voice as an independent contractor within a community-focused store in Bedford, NS.

Candidates should have teaching experience with all ages, and hold a music degree/diploma or RCM credentials, or demonstrate professional equivalency. Flexible scheduling with private or group lessons is available.

Qualifications

• Must have teaching experience with students of all ages.
• Knowledge and application of standard teaching methods and curricula for private or group lessons.
• Candidates must have one of: music degree/diploma, RCM Grade 8 with Rudiments, or professional equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Lessons Teachers work as independent contractors.
• Long & McQuade stores offer on-site Lesson Centres with lessons in piano, guitar, bass, drums, woodwinds, brass, strings and voice.
