Job summary

AECOM is hiring an Inspector – Municipal Infrastructure for GTA projects, based in Markham, ON or Mississauga, ON. The role focuses on watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems within municipal infrastructure assignments.

Ideal candidates will bring 4+ years of field experience on municipal projects, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with civil construction documentation. The position offers full-time work with standard benefits and relocation considerations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant field experience on municipal infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site liaison with contractors, clients, and authorities.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer and Project Manager to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Prepare and maintain daily logs, project documentation and reporting.
• Schedule and conduct regular project meetings with contractors and clients.
• Provide clarification of drawings to contractors with support from the Project Engineer.
• Monitor compliance with quality, performance, specifications, and code requirements.
• Conduct surveys and measurements for quantity calculations.
• Complete surveys for record drawings and participate in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
