Job summary

Qualifications

• Related experience with administering elections, municipal elections preferred.
• Experience with various elections technology would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and organizing the delivery of the elections.
• Develop and maintain a project plan for the election.
• Coordinate people, materials, and locations for the election.
• Research and implement election-related strategies and procedures.
• Support the preparation of the Voters’ List and notification process.
• Liaise with the public, election workers, and candidates.

Skills

Intermediate computer skills (MS Office applications)

Knowledge of project management fundamentals

Ability to work evenings and weekends

Valid ‘G’ license

Education

Post-secondary diploma or degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration or equivalent
