Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, is seeking an MRO Engine Line Supervisor responsible for overseeing all engine repair line operations in a high-technology environment. This full-time, day-shift role is based on-site in St-Hubert and requires working in a French-speaking environment with some English understanding.

Candidates should have 5+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, a college degree in aeronautics or related field, and demonstrated leadership.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience supervising employees in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of aftermarket repair and inspection processes in aviation (Asset).
  • At least a college degree/DEC in aeronautics or related field (engineering is an asset).
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to develop high performing teams.
  • Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments and meet customer requirements with high quality.

MRO Engine Line Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all engine repair line operations at our Saint-Hubert facility.

What will your day-to-day look like?
  • Supervise repair/overhaul operations in a high technology industry;
  • Motivate and energize the workforce to reach an optimal level of employee’s engagement;
  • Responsible of main performance indicators: Heath & Safety, quality, on time delivery, productivity, etc.;
  • Help develop and manage the budget and hiring;
  • Supervise work shift changes;
  • Host and take part in meetings with other managers.
What do you need to be successful?
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in supervising employees in the manufacturing sectors
  • Knowledge and experience with aftermarket repair and inspection processes in the aviation industry (Asset)
  • At least a college degree/DEC in aeronautics or another related field (engineering is an asset)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience in leading and developing high performing teams, groups, projects and / or processes
  • Must be quality oriented and committed to providing quality services in a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
  • Lead to meet customer requirements while maintaining the highest quality of work
  • Must be organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be able to interact with various groups at our St-Hubert facility.

This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a basic knowledge of English to understand some specialized work instructions, drawings and technical terms that may come from international organizations.
