Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited MRI program.
  • Registered in good standing with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) program.

Responsibilities
  • Perform all required MRI examinations as prescribed by physicians in accordance with relevant protocols and procedures.
  • Maintain strong team environment amongst MRI technologist, MRI Technologist Assistants and Imaging Nursing Team.
  • Perform a large variety of MRI specialty procedures including cardiac imaging and breast biopsies.
  • Collaborate with the Pacemaker Clinic to perform MRI exams on patients with MRI conditional pacemakers.
  • Coordinate with the Anesthesia team to provide MRI access to young children and patients with special needs.
  • Perform MRI studies to assist radiation therapy planning.
