The MPU Coordinator will play an integral role in supporting homeowners and internal operations by effectively applying the LGCY Power Mission: to provide an extraordinary customer experience while becoming the best version of ourselves and helping others do the same. This role will be the main point of contact for all meter spot, MPU, and de-rate needs for each solar project that the Ontario, California branch oversees. Additional responsibilities are included below.

  • Submit the meter spot request to the corresponding utility
  • Submit meter band removal requests for all de‑rates
  • Follow up with the utility on a weekly basis to get the status of the meter spot.
  • Request the MPU date once the meter spot is approved and the MPU permit is approved
  • Coordinate all inspections associated with the panel upgrade
  • Reply to all MPU inquiries from internal personnel as well as the sales teams.
  • Follow up on the status of any MPU related estimates in a timely manner
  • Update the CRM with all project notes as necessary
  • Report any onsite changes to the design team immediately to ensure the approved plans match the work on site
  • Confirm MPU dates and post‑MPU repairs with the homeowners
  • Update and close out all MPU related tasks to trigger the next action for the project
  • Follow up on the status of electrical corrections from the AHJ or the Utility
  • Minor Adobe edits/additions to utility floor plans
  • Submitting accounting jot forms for utility engineering deposits
  • Collaborate with other company departments as needed per utility request (i.e. additional site survey information, requesting panel schedules from Design, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned
