Job summary

First Onsite Restoration is seeking a hands-on Mover/Labourer to support restoration and construction projects. You will move, pack, and clean, operate basic tools, and document contents for rebuild work. You’ll work with a crew, ensure safety, and contribute to a positive customer experience.

You'll work with experienced crew members, operate tools and equipment, and help ensure job sites stay clean, safe, and organized. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MOVER/LABOURER

As a Mover / General Labourer, you ensure that the contents and belongings of our clients are safely removed and packed so that the necessary rebuild and repair work can be done. While packing and moving boxes as well as loading furniture, you are sure to take great care. Working with the Encircle app, you list and document restorable and non-restorable contents both in the warehouse and on customer sites. At the completion of the construction project, you are responsible for moving customer property to their previous condition in a timely manner.

You conduct general everyday cleaning in addition to pre-construction and post-construction cleaning. Both at the warehouse and on customer sites, you clean household contents. You enjoy working with your hands as you participate in your cleaning, packing, and moving responsibilities. Plus, you enjoy interacting with our customers and providing them with excellent customer service. In this Contents Technician / General Labourer position, you play an essential role in giving our customers a great experience with First Onsite!

Qualifications
