Job summary

The MOVE by GoodLife Kids program is launching an in-person MOVE Coach class in Markham for youth aged 12–21 with autism and intellectual disabilities. You will lead adaptive workouts, deliver engaging sessions, and work with a team to ensure a positive, inclusive experience.

Requirements include a passion for helping youth with disabilities, prior fitness-class delivery, ability to teach in-person sessions, reliable transportation, a current nationally recognized Group Fitness/Coaching

Qualifications

Passion for helping youth with disabilities.
Experience delivering fitness classes.
Ability to deliver in-person classes.
Reliable transportation.
Current nationally recognized Group Fitness/Coaching certification (FIS/PTS).
Current CPR-A certification.
Access to reliable internet for virtual components.
Proactive, flexible mindset.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver an exceptional fitness program for youth with autism and intellectual disabilities through coaching, instruction and facilitation to ensure a positive and impactful experience.
Collaborate with other MOVE Coaches and Supervisors to share best practices.
Create and develop workout plans that meet MOVE by GoodLife Kids guidelines.
Build and maintain positive relationships with Participants and Community Partners.
Respond to Participant and Caregiver feedback and concerns.
Lead in-person classes with potential involvement in virtual programming as needed.
Represent GoodLife Kids Foundation professionally and compassionately.
